What are your funding priorities?
We will fund anything that will facilitate and activate Christian prayer.

We anticipate that this will largely be prayer events and retreats, but we are open to other proposals.

Who can apply?

Proposals are welcomed from Christian organisations, unincorporated groups and individuals, who share our statement of faith and the desire to increase Christian prayer. We do not accept applications from public bodies.

Are all Christians included?

Our funding is limited to Christians that hold to the tenets of the Nicene creed.

What can be funded?

Grants must be used to cover costs directly connected to facilitate prayer (typically an event or a retreat). This will usually exclude salary costs and capital expenditure.

Grants of up to 100% of the cost of a proposal can be made though we will consider funding part of the cost of a proposal where the rest is shared by other sources.

How much can I apply for?

The charity will usually make grant payments of between £500 and £2000.

There is no limit to how many times you can apply.​

Are online events funded?

Yes, though it is understood that the costs are lower, but you may want to use a grant to help promote an online event.

Is it okay that I only have an idea?

That is fine, start the dialogue with us and perhaps we may be able to help your vision become reality.

How do I apply?

It begins with sending an outline fo your idea to bostonprayertrust@gmail.com and tell us how it fits with our funding priorities, your timescales, how much you are requesting. We can give you a prompt reply to say if we think it is worth submitting an application. Alternatively you can just complete the application form.
